Each collection of Deuce clips consists of several sets of clips, a set of clips reflecting a style of play (e.g., clean, dirty, crunch, etc). Within each set of clips, the settings of the Deuce are varied to record four clips: 1) both speakers in series, 2) both speakers in parallel, 3) left speaker only and 4) right speaker only. The settings on the amp are unchanged within each set, the only exception being the amp impedance selector, which is set to match the amp output impedance with the speaker impedance resulting from the Deuce setting being used.
Each collection is recorded using an identical mic arrangement with absolutely no post processing.
We demonstrate the capabilities of the Deuce in two different scenarios. The first scenario uses a pair of different make/model speakers for dramatic variations in tone, feel and volume. The second scenario uses a pair of same make/model speakers, for more subtle variations in tone, feel and volume.
