In this collection Tom Guerra is playing his custom Brian Moore Guitar (equipped with P90's) through a Blitz 50 2x12 combo amp from Savage Audio Amplifiers.
The Blitz is loaded with a pair of 8 ohm Celestion Blue Alnico speakers, Valve Art KT66's, Mullard 12AX7's, Mullard CV4024's (a high end 12AT7 equivalent) and a Mullard GZ34 rectifier.
The three sets of clips were recorded by changing only the guitar volume knob using a single, close-coupled mic, located off-axis to the outside of the left speaker. While admittedly this is not the best mic arrangement for recording the Deuce, we learned a lot from this experience, and thought we'd post the demos anyway.
