In these clips Tom Guerra plays a McNaught Signature G6 "T" through our Blockhead First Born 18 equipped with a ComboMojo Solo.
The amp was cranked, but of course produced no audible sound with the Solo switched to silent mode.
The signal from the Solo's headphone/line-out jack was run directly into an M-Audio MicroTrack 24/96 digital recorder.
The guitar volume control was used to set the overdrive level, and the guitar tone control was rolled back a bit to simulate typical guitar speaker hi-end roll-off.
Tube amp tone, dynamics and warmth? With the micro-tenuation required for headphone listening or line-out direct recording? You bet!
